Munich Re’s Grimm: Higher nat cat losses don’t show progress on climate adaptation

Considering nat cat figures in absolute terms, which shows higher losses as the “new normal”, underestimates the implementation of adaptation measures in developed regions to respond to the impact of climate change on the frequency and severity of weather events, according to Munich Re’s Tobias Grimm.
